Done his schooling from Perumbavoor Ashram Higher Secondary, Pre-degree from Kollam Fathima Matha National College. After obtaining the DAM degree from Kottakal Ayurvedic College, he joined hands with his father for practising.         In the year 1998, he received the V.K Krishnan Menon award for his outstanding performance in the field of ayurvedic medicine. His wife Dr. Annamma George is a member of Mallapalli Modayil Family. His son Dr.Varghese.K.George, daughter-in-law Dr:Rachel Varghese MBBS   Daughter Dr.Rebecca George BDS and son-in-law Dr Mathew Varghese MDS are consultant physicians in Kayalvarath Hospital.       Dr. George Varghese is the ayurvedic physician at Kayalvarath hospital and also manages the ayurvedic pharmacy of V. I. Varghese Vaidyan.         Dr. Annamma George - wife of Dr. George Varghese was born in 1951 into the family of Mallapalli Modayil. She is the daughter of Mr. A I Eapen and Mrs. Mariyamma Eapen. After completing her formal education from Becker School, Kottyam, she graduated from Kottayam Kurichi Homeo College. In the year 1986, she took her Dac: degree in acupuncture and is right now in charge of the Homeo and acupuncture department.           Dr. Varghese K. George - son of Dr.George Varghese working as physician in charge in Kayalvarath hospital is a graduate from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thrissur from the batch of 1997, now managing Puvanuzha, Kavanad baranch.             Dr. Rachel Varghese – daughter in law of Dr. George Varghese manages the allopathic department in this hospital .She is from Malloothara family, Kottayam and obtained her MBBS degree from CMC, Ludhiana and presently doing her PG
